The Archive of Freedom at Castle Schwarzenberg

The exhibition The Archive of Freedom at Castle Schwarzenberg was arranged to mark the 25th anniversary of the founding of the Czechoslovak Documentation Centre for Independent Literature.

The exhibition maps the path that led to the creation of the most important Czechoslovak exile institution of the second half of the 20th century and documents the efforts of a group of cultural and political personalities in exile supported by allies at home and abroad. It is meant to focus attention on the activities and operations of the ČSDS from the initial era of a domestic “one-man band” up to today’s public beneficiary society, integrated into the structure of academic and cultural institutions at home and abroad.

From 21 September 2011 to 8 January 2012 in Kampa Museum.

Address: Museum Kampa, U Sovových mlýnů 2, 118 00 Prague 1 – Malá Strana
