Bibliografický profil Markéty Goetz-Stankiewicz

Markéta Goetz-Stankiewicz je emeritní profesorkou na University of British Columbia, v Torontu získala v roce 1955 titul MA, v roce 1957 titul Ph.D. V letech 1980 - 1985 vedla na University of British Columbia ve Vancouveru Katedru germanistiky.

Je autorkou asi třiceti příspěvků o německé, komparativní, české a polské literatuře do knih i periodik, úvodů k vydání her a divadelním programům. Mnohé z jejích prací byly znovu vydávány ve sbírkách literární kritiky či překládány a vydávány v dalších jazycích. V letech 1972 a 1992 získala cenu UBC Excellence in Teaching, v roce 1988 dostala v Praze řád Ordo Scriptores Bohemici od nezávislých (samizdatových) spisovatelů. V roce 1992 byla oceněna Boeschensteinovou medailí na CAUTG a Hlávkovou medailí České akademie věd.
